How a session works

Before we meet
You get the topic in advance, often with something short to read, watch or listen to. Preparation is encouraged but never required. It is there so you arrive with ideas and a few useful words, not so you can study for a test. The topics come from real life, which is what makes the conversation a real one.

During the session
Two hours of conversation on that topic, with six people at most. I guide the talk, help you find the words you are reaching for, and make sure everyone gets meaningful speaking time. It stays a conversation, not a class.

After the session
You get a personalized PDF built from the session you were actually in: the vocabulary that came up for you, a text, something to watch or read, a book or film worth your time, and a few things to practice during the week. The conversation ends. The learning does not.

Questions people ask
Do I need to prepare for the session?
You will receive the topic and any supporting material in advance, but preparation is not mandatory. Looking through it once is enough. The material simply gives you ideas and useful words to bring into the conversation. This is real language practice, not a test.
Is this a class?
Not in the traditional sense. It is a guided conversation. I am there to keep it moving, help you find the words you are missing, and make sure everyone speaks. The session belongs to the group.
How many people will be there?
Six at the very most. That is the whole point: a group small enough that nobody can hide and everyone gets real support and meaningful speaking time.
What happens after the conversation?
